T-Sections
T-sections are the intersections in a line drawing that show which object or part of an object is more in the foreground than the other part or object. This allows us to show depth in a 2D image.
To practice this technique, we placed various objects on a table in a pile, and drew them. Not in much detail, but just so we could idenify the objects using t-sections.
This was a very relaxing task to do. It definitely taught me how important the t-sections were in drawing.
