Speed and Direction Storyboard

Project brief: Create a storyboard 7-20 frames long featuring one object or character going faster than another, for them to meet at a point.

I decided to do mine featuring two dogs, which was a bit of a ustake, as I soon began to realise that i had very little skill in drawing dogs, hence the practice I did in the previous post. I also found drawing backgrounds like houses and streets difficult, so definitely something to work on in my next storyboard, or even just in general. Should have probably practiced drawing them like with the dogs.

I also need to learn how to do proper storyboards, with dialogue and sfx notes, and learn how to represent pans and turns in them. Previously I have just done storyboards in boxes, like above, but i should probably get used to doing them properly.

I am pretty happy with how the drawings came out, and how they represent speed, although I think I neede a few more frames to get it absolutely right. Probably shouldn't have given so many frames to the storyline haha. I can't resist! The style also I felt that I could have drawn something more dynamic on paper rather that the meticulous and possibly overdone lines above, but I'll work on that for the next storyboard.

All in all, even though I have a way to go, I'm pretty content with this storyboard!
