Christmas Drawings Part 1

And I'm officially back! I've been back on campus for a few weeks now, but have only had inductions for equipment. This week we're finally beginning classes again. Over Christmas holidays I tried to draw a lot. I was quite busy, but I did do some, and watched lots of videos to work on my technique.

Below are my sketches from a small sketchbook I kept on me. They're in time order, so oldest to newest.

Sketches of my cat Toyboy, and one really bad sketch of me drawing without a reference.

Jynn Erso. This was when Rogue One came out. The pose is a bit stiff, but I like how I drew the clothing.

Just some pose sketches, trying to get the flow of the body.

One sketch i did in the Star War Identities exhibition, and some concept sketches of a hairstyle for a character I'm working on for a comic I'm thinking of doing. Only inked the good sketches haha

Drawing of Mimi from the musical Rent. Still too stiff, and I think I got the proportions wrong in the arms. I always seem to make characters look so stiff whenever I want to do a full portrait/piece.

Some drawings from the concept book of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, then some drawings of my cat again, and one I added wings to, because I thought it would look cool haha

Sketch I actually did very recently, of a little angry tub of a cat called Gunther. I made him up based on one of my cats at home who's really fat and angry. Really like this page, and doing character pages.

Have some more pages I haven't scanned yet to be added to another post/this post in the future.
