3D Posing
For 3D, we practiced posing with a complicated model. I found this both fun and a challenge. It was interesting to learn about how bodies move, like how the elbow is a limited joint and most arm movement comes from either the shoulder or wrist, and how the shoulder always lifts, but it's an easy detail to miss. Learning to work with stylised models was also interesting, as I found that this model's upper arm was unusually short, so when I wanted to put her elbow on a table, I had to really lean her upper body forwards. Her fingers were also unusually long, and it was fun to compare her poses to how I did them as I posed her.
