Life Drawing 5

For this life drawing session we mostly did 10-15 minute drawings and concentrated on using our needles to try and get the proportions as accurate as possible. It was definitely not a relaxing session! It really gave my mind a work out, but I think it has definitely improved my skill.
 
 
 
10 minutes each
I am pretty happy with these drawings. A few of them, like the first drawing, I balanced wrong, but they were just the warm up drawings(at 9am)
 
15 minute sitting drawings
Since these poses were done sitting, the weight was evenly distributed so we didn't have to concentrate on that as much, and more on the composition of the body parts together. This required a lot of rubbing out and redrawing
 
15 minute lying down poses
Finally, we worked on two lying down poses to practice forshortening. I am very happy about these two, especially the chest area of the bottom one. Again a lot of rubbing out and redrawing, but it was quite nice at this point, probably because I'd had some food and had fully woken up.
